Opis posla

Web Developer (work from home)

We are looking for an individual who has a strong passion for learning, excels at problem solving and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.  The successful candidate will report to the development team manager, collaborate with other in-house team members

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with in-house and offshore development teams with day to day development projects
  • Slice layered PSD files into W3C Compliant HTML/ CSS
  • Help develop and support websites using the WordPress Platform
  • Implement text and graphical updates for existing client websites
  • Working with clients to develop technical solutions to meet their unique needs

 

MUST HAVES

  • Strong English speaking skills
  • 2+ years of PHP with experience in object-oriented development
  • Experience with LAMP
  • HTML5 / CSS3 and experience with responsive development
  • Security conscious
  • 2+ years of WordPress experience (custom theming/plugin development a plus)
  • Proficiency working with JavaScript and jQuery

BONUS SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  •  Experience working in Agile teams
  •  E-Commerce
  • Version Control
  • cPanel & WHM
  • SEO Knowledge is a definite plus
  • Experience with server administration
