Job Position: Carpenter

BOAT MAINTENANCE LTD. is looking for a Carpenter to join their team in Malta!

Responsibility:

Construct, install and repair building frameworks and structures made from wood and other materials.

Duties:

Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients.
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding.
Measure, cut or shape wood, plastic and other materials.
Construct frameworks, including walls, floors, steps.
Help erect, level and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes.
Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.

Requirements:

Proven experience as carpenter (mandatory). Minimum: 2 years.
Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.).
Good knowledge of English or Maltese.
Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
Good physical condition and endurance.
