Logistics Coordinator
At Zerobroker, we are transforming the $800 billion US trucking industry and making freight shipping broker-free. We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly-organized Logistics Coordinator to join our Operations team.
The Logistics Coordinator is a key contributor in ensuring orders are processed in an efficient and timely manner.
What you will do:
Initially:
- Logistics and shipment coordination
- Effectively and proactively manage all inquiries received from customers, warehouses and carrier companies
- Partner with internal and external teams regarding shipment acknowledgments, estimated ship dates and all applicable transactional information, as well as coordinating and change orders (changes to address, date, quantity, etc.)
- Follow up on shipment documents and keep the statuses up to date
- Partner with accounting
- Occasional administrative tasks, as needed
Subsequently:
- Prepare and deliver timely reporting to management
- Build and run daily reports for management, illustrating open shipments, open tickets, etc.
- Recommend and implement processes to improve efficiency in shipment management
Always:
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Be a team player
We are looking someone with:
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player who excels in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Fluent in spoken Spanish (is a plus)
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic
- Ability to quickly process information and make decisions
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
