Senior Graphics/Web Media Designer

We are looking for a Senior Graphics/Web Designer who is a strategic thinker, passionate about their craft, and pays great attention to details. We need someone who has a very hand-on approach that can lead our creative direction and all aspects of product design. This position will create web design graphics and layouts, user interface elements, and marketing materials (video, logos, brochures, online banners, stands and online commercials).
Requirements:
• Education in web graphic design, user interface design
• Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar role
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
• Excellent understanding of web marketing with demonstrable success in web programs
• Results oriented with a good understanding of business drivers. Proven experience in managing budgets and delivering ROI.
• Work with range of media including, but not limited to: interaction, film/video and print
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the proven ability to effectively lead and grow a creative team
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, and Adobe After Effects and other interactive and print design tools
• Ability to drive the Creative (Web Design and Development) strategy for the core product offerings, and translate that strategy into execution
• Solid working understanding of web site tools, technologies and effective, sustainable and scalable web design/production techniques
• Strong design style, including creative design solutions within the constraints of the Internet
• Technical knowledge of how web-based technologies such as HTML, Flash, CSS applied to web design
• Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, colour theory and typography in both print and digital media
• Experience designing for SaaS model, desired.
